Luis Suarez: Bite ban appeal rejected by Fifa
Fifa has rejected Uruguay and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez's appeal against a four-month ban from all football-related activities for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
Suarez was also banned for nine international matches after theincident at the World Cup in Brazil.
The Uruguayan FA had described Fifa's ruling as an "excessive decision" for which "there was not enough evidence".
Suarez can now make a further appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

They could go to CAS to get it reduced or overturned, which they'd surely win as the ban is a load of bollocks. But, it might burn their bridges with fifa/uefa and set a precedent.

The ban saga is not over by a long stretch. CAS will overturn ban or likely reduce it. Needless to say, fuck Barca and Suarez (same goes for Spurs)!

I think I expected it the moment he bit Chiellini

I just looked at my phone, laughed a bit and assumed we'd bin him off

Can't really be annoyed after how good he was last season though

Its inevitability that has arrived. We all believed that he'd be off at some point and it just arrived sooner than we wanted. Might as well take the cash and accept things for what it is.

Most of us are at peace with it. Lets hope we go on to win the Premiership this season to soothe us over.
