A post somewhere else gave me the idea, but do your top three worst performers of the match. I want to see who SCm thinks is the worst player over a season.

Blackburn:

Konchesky
Skrtel
N'Gog

Konchesky
Lucas
Ngog

Johnson was terrible but he also did some good stuff, which the mentioned above didnt.

Konchesky was far from one of the worst out there last night, and he is bad.

Johnson
Maxi
Greek

glen_johnson Glen Johnson
Morning, woke up to some ridiculous comments, which makes me think there's about 100 of my followers who don't understand football?!?!

Poor the Glen

Greek
Skrtel
Johnson

Never, ever again should we see Skrtel and the Greek paired together in the centre of defence. I've said this countless times before: both are capable of looking good, but it's no coincidence that it only happens when they're paired with Carragher, who babysits them through the game. Without Carra shouting, pointing, organizing, and generally telling them where to be and what they should be doing, they're a fucking liability. Their positioning and decision-making was genuinely comical at times. Particularly Skrtel. That man should never be left to his own devices. In fact, I think he should be accompanied at all times, whatever he's doing.

Well said. I thought the Greek was just as culpable for sitting off their defenders and looking constantly uncertain, but your point that we're missing Carra's organisational abilities is a particularly good one.

The thing is a club of our stature shouldn't entertain as many players who's in obvious need of babysitters as we do at the moment.

I'd get rid of Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Skrtel, Poulsen, Ngog, Babel and to some extent Lucas come Summer - though I actually don't think he's been that bad this Season. (He can get the job done, if he's been used properly and not all the time).

I'd keep hold on Kuyt but he's certainly been wank for quite some time now and both Maxi and Cole would need to sharpen up as well to keep their place.

For me these are our key-players (baring injuries of course): Reina, Carra, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Raul, Kuyt, Torres

Get rid of the deadwood and let a new manager bring in 5-7 new players where at least two or three of them are star-players - or at least potential world class like Hazard, Young and Javi Martinez perhaps. Promote some of the kids and buy some talented, upcoming defenders and back-up strikers.

Starting from scratch without moulding too much with the potential world class core of players we've got.

Agree with pretty much all of that, bar Johnson.

He either needs some coaching on how to run back to defence after going up for a free-kick/corner or he needs a kick up the arse.

Put Kelly at RB vs UTD.
