Ship him out?

Just saw that Berlesconi said he'd love to bring Andy Carroll to Milan.

Should I feel guilty that my heart skipped a bit after I read that? Dealing with them over Aquilani hasn't been pleasant, admittedly, but this is a whole different matter.

Take the money and run?

I will not feel guilty at all if 25million is oferred.
I shall be extremely happy if we can get 35 million, which will not be likely.

Fucking right we should sell him.

I had a conversation at the pub last night with a mate around how Carroll would look in the Spanish side. My contribution to the debate was to piss myself laughing.

Ship him out to fuck.

for anything over 20m i'd happily sell also (although let's be honest he's not even worth 20m ) . The only real concern would be if we could get another striker in . I'm not sure who's out there and available .

If the bar is set by Carroll then we'll find shitloads. (I'd rather keep Carroll but 25 or even £20 million is enough for me to reconsider)

I'm keen to wait and see what Rodgers does with Carroll but I think he's going to be significantly improved this season from last season.

It's one of the most certain things about LFC next season, that Carroll will be vastly improved.
It's a stupid time to sell him.

He aint going to get worse, that's for sure.

He was a fucking monster at the end of last season & looked dangerous when he actually got a chance for England.

That much lauded stat about most completed passes being Hart to Carroll in the Italy game simply shows how effective Carroll is in the air, he wins more balls in the air than anyone in the league, defenders included. With players pushing up around him that will add more than another dimension to our play.

A while back I thought the top Italian clubs' finances had strengthened a bit, but the sheer scale of both Juve's and Milan's chiselling over Aquilani has made me wonder if that really is the case. He did well for both of them, and I cannot believe one or the other wouldn't have forked out the two cigarettes and an orange peel we ended up charging for him if they weren't under any financial pressure.

On the subject of Carroll - yes, he has improved, but it remains to be seen whether and to what extent he'll suit Rodgers' preferred style. On balance I'd be willing to discuss a move for the kind of money that's being talked about.

In our league Carroll will be superb, I would not sell at all.

He deserves a full season with us to prove himself now he has sorted his shit out with his fitness

I agree. And for the first time in ages, we're seeing a problem signing actually begin to repay the faith shown in him. He's the Anti-Babel.

I still think he's got flaws that will be difficult to iron out, but he is massively improved and a real threat at times. Still young, still improving and learning. The fee will always be a massive talking point though.

I am firmly in the let's see what happens this year camp.
I always have had faith that if handled and played correctly he will deliver.

regards
