What makes those pictures special for me is that the characters in them look like they are having fun and are proud they are lucky enough to be involved in a Football Club. Rose tinted specs yes but they look to me as if money is the last thing they'd be worrying about.

The first day that Hodge, supposedly the epitome of 'old school' values, took to the training pitch as England manager, he had to run back off because he realised he'd forgotten to put on his great big clunking designer watch, which he always needs to be seen to be wearing in order keep his contract with the makers. What a culture.
