We are poor at these, seriously poor..

I think it's the first time in years we are without a set piece specialist in the squad.. Something that has to be addressed in January I feel.. or if not January, on the training ground..

corners we appear useless.. Free kicks we have resorted to training ground tricks, as anything direct is also useless..

Suarez was a beast at them.. Gerrard was Mr dependable ( corners excluded )

Riise in his pomp, was a great free kick taker.. Danny Murphy was decent whilst Gary Macallister was a ledge.

I just don't see who in this squad who can step up to they plate with Set Pieces when it matters...

Maybe Hendo when he comes back, here is hoping..

I was surprised to see us had a few shots from corners yesterday.

Start giving pens at corners and it will be much better. After a few weeks with five plus pens a game the players will stop all the wrestling, shirt pulling and holding.

Shit referees is the main reason, not the players. It is football, not wrestling. Then suddenly the teams will score more goals from set plays.
