Probably shows the pace of the Italian league when you have two 37 year old strikers in the top 10.

I watched Inter v Fiorentina. Icardi missed a sitter. They weren't very good but improved massively when Shaqiri came on. Salah ran them ragged.

I'm not saying we buy any one from Serie A. I just found it surprising two 37 year olds to be in the top 10.

I would spend it all on Paul Pogba. He's a generational talent in this game. I'd do anything within the rules to sign him.

And he will never really get recognized for it. He'll never score enough goals.

Not surprised with Di Natale at all, and neither Luca Toni & Klose for that matter.

Di Natale has always been right up there in the Serie A scoring charts ... benefits heavily from the Udinese system.

Other thing to take into account is that Di Natale, Toni & Klose thanks to the science available to the German & Italian national teams & top club sides ... but also because they are professionals of the highest order when it comes to training & managing their bodies, which at their age is important.

If defensive players like Maldini, Nesta, Costacurta, Buffon etc could all play at a high level and keep performing well into their late 30's ... then there's no reason to be surprised that strikers like Toni, Klose, Di Natale, Del Piero (although he has gone now) & Totti can't do the same.
