Since you've mentioned Mascherano - looks like the lad had found hid club. He can do all the diving, chating and arguing with the refs he loves to. I was so sorry to see him leaving us. Watching him now makes me happy he's not doing his antics wearing our shirt.

You're right Themn, and there is, as ever with any Maureen hissy fit, a massive slice of self-righteousness that ignores the larger picture. Both Madrid and Busquets should have the book thrown at them. If I was Glasgow Rangers, whose fans were cited for singing sectarian songs in Europe (at no-one in particular, as they weren't playing Celtic), I'd feel aggrieved that a much more obvious form of prejudice is going unpunished by UEFA (Rangers will have to play 2 European games behind closed doors). I'm not sticking up for Rangers here, their fans need to learn that they need to learn a new gamut of songs that avoids mentioning 'fenians' and protestant paramilitaries, but the club have been working hard to eradicate it, and it is noticeable that it goes on in away games rather than home games now. Racism should be punished at least as harshly, perhaps more harshly, as Madrid clearly couldn't give a monkeys (excuse the shit pun) about the racism of their supporters.
