Salah to Saudi?

By next season it will be one year left on that contract, won't it? Unless I've miscalculated.

It doesn't seem like the Saudi clubs are as generous with transfer fees as they are with wages. Although I do take your Neymar point.
July 2025. We'll see what the fee is, for sure not too shabby, but I think it's next Summer for sure.

For the large parts of last season, Mo cut a lonely figure on the right wing, feeding on scraps he was expected to turn into goals. Like Harvey, I presume this stemmed from the need to occupy the flank while Trent was encouraged to move into the middle. It's really to his credit that he's taken to his new role as wide creator as well as he has done. Won't be too quick to push him out the door.

I think it was to accommodate Nunez in the middle as much as Trent coming inside into midfield.

Trent was drifting inside even more when Elliot was sitting on the bench - but Gakpo was in the centre dropping deep to create space for Mo to go into - result being MO’s goals & assists went up significantly.

It works when Nunez activates beast mode - not so much when he activates donkey mode.

Considering Neymar went for a tad under £100m, I think asking for £120m isn't unreasonable
100m euros......

Salah will only leave next summer if he says he wants to, otherwise he'll leave for nothing in 2 years.
