Apparently you can make the word "scouser" from "Curtis Jones" (with a few spare letters remaining). Anyway, nice anticipation and a striker's finish. He's kind a unique player; it's hard to find someone who plays quite in the same way. So far, he has produced at every level he's been called upon.

I think he needs to build himself up a lot in terms of physicality, and he, more than most as a young creative player, really needs every single friendly/quasi-friendly going to build up an understanding as to where other players play, but he's smart and he's going places.

I think he is gonna too.

These early goals will hopefully really help him settle. Nothing worse than seeing a youngster come on to the scene and feel like they have to force something to happen (this is how I felt about some of Brewster & Solanke's games for us) rather than just fit in with the flow of the team.

I'm still a bit unclear on his best position as he has looked good out wide, could he play in the front three? If not, is he more of that AM in the middle three?

Pleased for him - I wonder if he'll earn a start with the first team before the season is over.
