English players are over rated? Yes I think so too Roy.
He's bang on about a lot, but he's so fucking bitter and defensive, all the time.
And, if all the players were off form, which is true, why weren't less fashionable players picked. Why not a competent but unspectacular player in his correct position, instead of an off form star in the wrong one? That's where the criticism for capello is justified.

I'd agree strongly with his point that we rush to blame the Manager and allow the players to sail on, no doubt taking it for granted that their obvious brilliance was wasted by an incompetent/strict/disciplinarian/tactically naive (delete as appropriate) Manager.
I'd also agree that players are dubbed 'world class' when they haven't earned it. There are plenty amongst England's ranks who mistake the odd flash of brilliance for permanent class.
To coin a phrase 'get back to basics'. Pass, move, listen to the Manager and keep your opinions about selections, tactics etc for your autobiography after you've retired or move on or declare yourself unavailable.

I dont like roy keane at all. Yes he is a defensive bitter c*nt and a rubbish manager, but personally i think this is one of the most spot on attacks he's launched! He does cut capello too much slack though!
Where he runs down through the starting 11 and basically throws the world class label out the window is kind of funny!
