Great player - especially coming back from injury and still being a key part to the WC winning squad. I can't think of a pure striker who could match him. Not the best player ever though.
 
Zidane is my all time favourite, absolutely tore apart the 2006 World Cup and had a great swan song, absolutely unreal first touch, will never be beaten. Ronaldo was a beast though, as has been said, had everything, was a shame with all the injuries and fatness though.
