Fortunately Allen's been doing well lately, so we don't need to bend over and hand them the KY over the fee. Every player has his price of course, but AFAIC they pay us what we want or he stays.
But we've also seen the team's performance improve when he's been included/subbed on in other games, and IMO we could do a lot worse than him as a squaddie. I'm not saying keep him at all costs, but I certainly don't think we should be in the business of selling at any cost either.
Disagree with comment re: Southampton. He dominated the first half and was tiring in second half when Southampton brought on fresh players. Also, we played 2 in the middle that game and he is better in a 3.It's a shame about Allen because he's clearly a bit of a player, but we saw against Southampton his shortcomings when it comes to playing against a physical midfield. He could play an advance role in a lesser team and get away with it, we have too much quality in that position to accommodate him, and he's not nearly domineering enough to figure regularly in central midfield.
Pissed you off so much you said it twiceFuck off Jono. You never cease to try to get dig in, "back at his level", "this is a proper manager lads". Pathetic cunt.
Would you expect anything else from that cunt?Ouch ... nice dig at Kenny.

WUMOuch ... nice dig at Kenny.
Hey look, Sheep...Would you expect anything else from that cunt?
I wish I could put you on ignore.Hey look, Sheep...
Oh I guessed you would turn up..
I can imagine Allen will be in search of first team football on a regular basis next Season, I don't think he will get that here..Yeah, I'd go with that. He's definitely an asset in helping us retain possession later in games and harassing to win back the ball. If we're talking a relatively meager fee then he's worth it for that, but I guess much is down to the player too.
WUM
Kenny was brought in when the club was in turmoil..
He made the club feel Liverpool again, and won us a Trophy... legend... He was never going to be ideal in the long term, not in the modern game..
I didnt make a mistake. He was never a long term Soloution in my eyes, not the way the modern game had changed since he was last in charge..Uuum Kenny wanted to stay on ... so whether or not he'd have been ideal, he had similar credentials to Raf, minus a European trophy.
Just admit you made a mistake, and move on. It's ok - we all make 'em.

His second stint brought unity back to the club... Right person at the right time, but not an Elite manager, he was in his day, but that was over 20 years ago..
