Liverpool have been alerted to England Under-19 forward Robert Hall’s contract stand-off with West Ham, exclusive by Matt Law.

The Reds, Fulham and Southampton are all chasing Hall, who could be available for as little as £500,000 at the end of the season.

Hall is one of the brightest prospects in the country and has shone on loan at Birmingham.

His current West Ham contract is due to expire in the summer and, unless he signs a new deal, the 19-year-old will only cost a compensation fee.

A lightning-quick forward or winger, Rob Hall has come through the ranks at the Academy of Football after joining West Ham United at the age of seven.

Blessed with elusive ball skills, tight close control and a superb left-foot shot from all ranges, Hall has long been considered one of West Ham and England's brightest attacking prospects.

Capped regularly by his country at age-group level, Hall will be hopeful of one day earning full international honours with England.

In Nov '12 when Birmingham landed him on loan

Birmingham boss Lee Clark was delighted, saying: "Rob is a very quick-footed attacker who has got great ability to go past defenders and creates great opportunities for himself and others.

"He's also got a great strike of the ball so I'm looking forward to working with him and he's excited about the challenge.

"It was quite a coup getting Rob because he's been doing really well in the development squad at West Ham which has got him on the bench for most of the season in the Premier League.

"I have got to thank Sam Allardyce for allowing this one to happen. In all honesty, I didn't think he'd allow Rob to come as he's been a big part of their squad but thankfully he has. We're now looking forward to working with him."

Hall, an England under-19 international, can play as a striker but Clark has earmarked him for the left flank.

Blessed with great pace and ball skills, Hall made his Premier League debut for the Hammers in September and has been a recent regular on the substitutes' bench for Allardyce's side.

Last season he had loan spells at Oxford United, where he scored five goals in 13 appearances, and MK Dons.
