Anne Williams, Hillsborough campaigner, has died. I was only lucky enough to meet Anne once but she was a truly truly strong and inspirational woman. I'm proper gutted about this.

RIP Anne. Reunited with your son Kevin. YNWA.

Now theres a brave woman to be remembered fondly. A woman who wasnt for turning as she fought to have the truth revealed.

Uggh. I feel sick.
Hopefully there really is a place called heaven where she can meet her son and feel joy like she hasn't felt in 30 years.
 
At least she enjoyed a measure of justice in the last year, hopefully she finds peace in whatever follows.

Her name will be written into history for ever, especially in Liverpool and this football club.

I thought she had more time, such sad news in an already difficult week. What a courageous, determined and dignified lady.

RIP Anne. A truly incredible woman. She may not have seen the new inquests or seen justice done, but at least she learned the truth. She'll finally be reunited with her son.

Now THAT'S a woman that deserves a £10 million funeral, paid for by the state.

Very sad news.

An amazing woman with a ceaseless sense for justice.

She's at rest now. If anyone deserves to be at rest, she does.

Noticed her in one of the clips of the memorial service. She looked frail but I was hoping she'd get to see the new inquests. Rest in peace.
