So we all know who this fella is, one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and by any conservative estimate a million times better than Mignolet. Signed for Barca last year in their rush to avoid a transfer window ban but yet to start a game in La Liga. The rumours are starting to suggest Enrique doesn't fancy him and hes looking at leaving in January.

If hes available even on loan I reckon we should be all over this and go after him. What say ye?

Interesting.

Barca pursued him for quite a while - I believe a deal had already been struck last October/November for Barca to sign him.

Have notice Bravo has been in goals for them, I assumed Ter Stegen was injured

Bravo plays in the league, Stegen plays in the CL.

Its a bit odd no, why play him in the CL but not in La Liga, to put that in perspective hes played the same number of games as Lazar Markovic. Its clear that something is not right there, I reckon he will go out on loan

They've done it before when they've had two good players for the same position. Trying to give each one games.

Either way, I don't know about taking him on loan (if Barca would even agree to that) unless it was a 2 year deal or something.

Whats the downside? hes miles better than Mignolet, even if he went back in June

I dont think Ive ever seen a team rotate keepers like that before except Madrid with Casillas but that seemed to have been more of a political issue with him and Mourinho

Disruption. I'd rather we just get our own solution then bed a new keeper in for 6 months only to have to do it all over again.

2 seasons at least gives us some stability.

Better than two shit players for the same position.

Signing Mignolet and sacking off Reina is down to BR. He spent the money. He made the call. A piss poor one as it turns out.

The last thing you want if you are going to be playing death by football ( haha ) is a keeper than can't pass the ball and is uncomfortable on the edge of his penalty area. Which makes his signing all the more inexplicable. Its not as if it was a panic buy either, maybe a stats based signing but a really really shit one.

Our defenders can't pass for shit either.
