If you were tasked with the job of replacing rafa would you replace with a man who up until yesterday hadn't won an away game in the league in 441 days?
 
Up until yesterday I had no idea of this fact,bunny.

The point is that I find it amazing anyone would appoint a manager who at his previous club was clearly incapable of winning a league match away from home.
 
Rafa had never won a game in the Premiership prior to his appointment as Liverpool manager.

Roy Hodgson has won as many away games in the Premiership as Rafa in 2010. But yeah, his away record was my biggest fear when his name came up. And that alone, was enough for me to stay well clear.

I couldn't give a shit about 'the old twat' it certainly doesn't taint my view of the game. My will for us to win and my enjoyment at watching us get three points is always above everything, whether it be the ownership issue, a struggling manager or a shit side.

You wonder why people go on the offensive over your ridiculously rose-tinted Rafa posts when you post attacks like that one and then get all fucking mardy and start taking it personally, trying to put a positive slant on every flaw when someone dares criticise Benitez.

Lowering the standards of these debates? Right there.
 
to be fair my post was both a reflection of my true feelings and a deliberate attempt to wind people up, so you've got a point.

but i don't think my posts are 'ridiculously rose-tinted' or that i was unreasonable or taking anything personally in that other thread. however, i don't want to go down this road in yet another thread, so if you want to prove me wrong then maybe you could PM me or at least repsond in the other thread, and i'll start from there.

I can't recall the name of the designer but he had 35 years experience at the top level and won an award voted for by his peers I seem to remember.
