At times this was a really nervy affair, and we showed some all-too familiar jitters in defence. Blackburn are truly a side moulded into an image of their manager: massive, hateful shitcunts. We deserved the victory, even if we had Reina to thank on a couple of occasions.
Reina (7). Agree that there were a few nervy moments and hare-brained decisions, but he made several top-class saves and I doubt we'd have won without him.
Masher (8.). A beast of a performance from the player who has been Top Dog for the last three months. MOTM.
Carra (5). Uncharacteristically nervy at times, and had a few dodgy moments, overall, a bit ordinary
Agger (5). In a bit of a slump, he's been very average over the last few weeks.
Aurelio (n/a) Biscuit-man injured again
Maxi (6). Slow as evolution, but at least plays like he *has* evolved, unlike that other fucking chimp in midfield.
Gerrard (7). Another game. Another goal. Captain Fantastic is back. Some great passing from deeper in midfield, which is something we don't have unless he plays there.
Lucas (n/a) Just a massive, useless fucking waste of space. What the fuck is he doing playing for Liverpool?
Kuyt (5). Again, some things worked, others didn't. Never gave up, and one great overhead attempt, but not many others.
Casper (5). Not enough to justify playing in such an important position on the pitch, but we all know he isn't really good enough to play for us regularly, however the squad is so weak that he probably should.
Torres (7). It's a great shame that our only top-class striker is injured so often, but great to see him back in the side after teh abject fucking misery of watching Eggnog in recent weeks.
