Largely agree, Oncy. I thought Kelly was very good in the first half though, and Ming was my MOTM. Kuyt and Maxi probably deserve less than 4.
Reina 7 - Some nice saves. Great positioning in goal.
Johnson 8 - Their players just couldn't get passed him. Great going forward as well.
Agger 7 - Good performance. Solid in defense.
Skrtel 6 - Gives away too many free-kicks because of poor judgement and rash challenges.
Kelly 5 - Poor performance from him today. Terrible passing and positioning. Could be tired.
Poulsen 6 - Did OK. He's seems to be getting into shape. Thrives in Dalglish's line up.
Meireles 8 MOM - Great passing, great awareness. Plays with confidence. Created the wrongfully disallowed Torres goal. Involved in the OG. Cleared a certain goal for Fulham from the line.
Gerrard 6 - Rusty. Decent performance. Needs a couple of games to get going. I'm not sure if CM is where he should play.
Kuyt 6 - Ineffective. Mostly a passenger during the game.
Maxi 5 - Did fuck all.
Torres 6 - Was too isolated up front. We need better wingers.

On the whole, a pretty poor performance, considering we were at home. But we got a bit of luck, and got 3 points. The tide is turning.

They were starting to get into the game and he took off our destroyer and they tore us apart. He played very well today and shouldnt have been withdrawn.

Thought Ming tried too many hollywood balls but overall good.

Glenjo oozed class - playing at left back seems to make him 'concentrate' more which coupled with his natural talent is a great combination.

Completely agree. Had Torres' goal been allowed to stand, I'm confident we'd have scored another considering the fact that we were playing them off the park at that time.

We lost our shape badly after that subsititution. Rather than just working it out, the players just retreated into defensive shape and hung on - which won't work too often.
This won't be popular but we missed Lucas for large parts of the game.

We didn't miss Lucas, we missed Mascherano. Or a similar player who's good at what he does. Liverpool football club will never 'miss' Lucas.

Lucas wins more tackles, breaks up more play, and completes more passes than any other player in our squad. Fulham had fucking plenty of it last night, and somebody capable of taking it back off them, initiating moves for us and freeing Gerrard of the dirty work would absolutely certainly have helped.

Yep mostly agree but in my opinion we fell apart because we had no one to do that role anymore not because Poulsen was doing it so well before subbed. Again highlights why we absolutely must buy a new DM.

Yep mostly agree but in my opinion we fell apart because we had no one to do that role anymore not because Poulsen was doing it so well before subbed. Again highlights why we absolutely must buy a new DM.
