Reina - 7 - not much to do but a clean sheet
Johnson - 6 - looked complacent at times
Carra - 7 - solid
Skrtel - 8 - another excellent game
Agger - 7 - see Skrtel, although nearly punished for dozing off on a corner.
Spearing - 7 - decent, although can be wasteful at times (maybe too eager)
Lucas - 5 - too many errors
Meireles - 5 - better second half but still disappointing
Kuyt - 6 - lovely penalty, the usual shite first touch
Suarez - 7 - some lazy passes but a lovely goal and worked hard
Carroll - 6 - caught in possession too much but won plenty of headers
 
Reina - 6 - not much to do, fluffed one dangerous move for Sunderland
Carra 6.5 - got beaten far too much by Gyan and wellbeck outwide in the first half, was much better in the second
Agger - 8 - Man monster
Skrtel - 7.5 - deputy man monster, between them they won everything going.
Spearing - 8.5 shielded the back four an absolute dream, chased and harried everyone and anyone on the ball and won the peno
Lucas - 5.5 - few too many wayward passes but was overall sound.
Ming - 5 - missing for 45 minutes and in the second half was a bit too much of a passenger.
Kuyt - 6.5 - scored a good peno but should have scored at least one before that, too many shite touches
Suarez - 8 - fought like a trooper on and off the ball, worked hard and got his reward in a beautiful goal
Carroll - 5 - looked knackered and possibly should have done better with his only noticeable chance - will get better

Ngog 5.5- worked hard for 20 minutes but didnt do much
Cole - N/A - did he touch the ball?

The ref had a mare, but the Sunderland players errors were bigger. In the studio during half time the whole focus were if Spearing was 20 sm outside or inside the box. Not one mention on how fucking poor Mensah was loosing the ball in the first place before he cynically hack down Jay. Who made the bigger mistake? And then the Bramble situation. Bramble cynically hacks down Carroll. No chance on the ball.... And people jump to ciritice the ref. And the red card also. Mensah fucking it up big time... Steve Bruce will get a new ref next week but he is stuck with his fucking stupid defenders. He should defo worry more about them.

Agree with most of that ... maybe drop Spearing to a 7.5.

Glad you agree with me that Johnson was poo and hardly worth rating. 😀
