Perhaps true but (and I didn't see this particular game) Aurelio really is a classy footballer. If he could only stay healthy he would be a very valuable asset to the team. (And yes, I know, if my aunt had a penis she'd be my unkle...)

it find it very strange that some fans knock lucas in one breath and then praise spearing in the next. spearing yesterday was tidy, no more no less and went for glory when there were better options available, more than once. on the official spearing was 2nd on the motm poll (2nd after ngog) WHAT?! for what exactly?

Well for one thing Spearing is a little local lad who cost us fuck all , not the next "big thing" from Brazil.
Secondly Spearing looks to move the ball forward and thread clever balls through the middle for the forwards.
Thirdly that was his full debut, which if you compare it to most of Lucas's early games makes it entirely feasible he could be a better player.
