His suspension is trite bollocks.

Plenty of people at that paper would have approved the article before it went to print, so it was/is hardly his view alone.
This.

We all Mackenzies MO. But don't let that distract us from this. That article would have gone through the editorial team, someone at the rag or indeed many of them saw it as alright to go to print.

Now they're apologising about the reprehensible quotes from their columnist that they allowed to go to print. Don't let them pull the wool over your eyes.

He somehow made today about him again. How the fuck. What a cunt

I don't agree. It's only about him if we let him.

Today for me is all about respecting the memory of the 96, their families and all those affected by the tragedy. I glanced through the Mirror today, a paper that can't wait to have a pop at the rag. The Mackenzie story was buried in the middle. No prominence given. That's the way to silence Mackenzie.

Bill Kenwright's statement is full of the usual preening and hypocritical crap, boasting that 'the people' call them the People's Club (no they don't, only your marketing department do that), that 'the People's Club has listened to the people' (got hearing difficulties, have you, because people have been telling your club to ban the paper for ages and you've only just acted), and how 'proud' Everton are to have 'stood side by side' with LFC over all of this (really? Well, maybe you should have a look and listen at recordings of past derby games to assess how strong that support has been). It took a silly attack on one of its own players to make Everton snap into action, and immediately, true to form, it's all about THEM. I hate that club more than ever.

Shamefully enough it took us 28 years to ban those bastards as well, so I choose to ignore his bs and welcome their decision. Now only the rest of the country remains.
