Curious George.

George - is your name *George* and what's the significance of the "67" in your screen name when you're 28 ?

There's a sports agency that organises all these friendlies now, can't quite remember their name. But they're the same company that Ukraine gave the TV rights to the England game to sell. (the one that ended up Internet only)

Blatter's nephew is involved with the company. And if I remember correctly Manu Petit is one of the other main men.

I'll find the name of them again shortly.

Kentaro.

They rent a ground, pay the two teams a fee for turning up and pocket the gate receipts.

At £37 quid a pop plus £4.50 booking fee they'll only turn £2.5 million on the gate receipts. Doesn't leave much else for appearance fees and rent of ground. I'm sure there will be advertising revenue and the like but it does seem to hinge on getting a full house for Brazil v Ireland in North London.

I'm guessing they have TV rights to sell to John.

Either way, they aren't doing it for nothing !
