In the event we sign Nabil Fekir, then we'll have Naby Kieta, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah as Muslims.

Salah and Mane are observant Muslims and I guess the other two are too. Next year Ramadan will fall in April and if we are challenging then we could see the performance slump. If there is a fall in performance should the players be ordered not to fast or should the clubs use them sparingly ie they don't play the full match?

Well Ramadan is on now and both Salah and Mane are muslim so if youre worried about next year why arent you worried about tomorrow night?

Meh, Muslims can compensate for days missed after Ramadan. No Biggie.

Salah won't - and I doubt Mane will either if he's not doing it this time.

From what I've read, level of performance doesn't drop much though it may be more problematic in England with earlier kick off times.

Fasting is exempt for Travellers, but as I understand both will fast. From what I read they would break their fast 30 minutes before the game which gives them time to get some fluid and food into them. I am worried but because it's a 1 off game I don't expect anything other than 100%.

Most kick offs will be before they can break their fast and also you might have midweek, added to that the latter stages of the Champions League.
