Following a 1-0 loss at Burnley on Boxing Day 2021. We'll be 18th in the table with 15 points and have just as many goals scored in 18 matches.

It is going to be dire.

Rafa's unveiling video should be good. The camera glides down the corridors of Everton FC, takes a sharp turn into the men's bogs, and fronts an engaged cubicle. The stall door opens and reveals Rafa sitting on the khazi reading a copy of Shoot! He looks up into the lens and a fart echoes in the pan. He grins and slowly shuts the door. What a manager.

His reign will end when he forgets himself during the Derby and jumps to his feet to celebrate Liverpool scoring against us.

Dantes - how are you coping with those %'s? Must be driving you crazy.

They've already tried to put one outside his house.
I want to hear his first interview as Everton manager and listen what he has to say.

Was he that desperate that he could'nt have waited a few more months to go somewhere else?

Where do you want him to go? Tranmere? His house is in Liverpool, he left China to be closer to his family.

Don't be a bitter...

Not well, not well. Alas I managed to resolve the issue, the copy paste function failed to delimit the vote count digits from the vote percent digits. Quite why they needed to put both numbers there is another matter, perhaps because some of their fanbase don't know how to interpret percentages.

Where else would he have wanted to go? It sounds like he wants to continue working because he enjoys it (he can't possibly need the money) and it sounds like he wants to remain in the UK.

He's not gonna be in line for one of the top jobs these days, and I doubt he really wants to be battling relegation. So the Everton job pretty much ticks the boxes for him.

I am happy for him.
Means he can manage at a decent level, and live with his family again.

Won't be easy though, with the knuckledraggers.

It's hard to take but just like players signing for rival clubs, his decision is understandable. Our dislike/rivalry with Everton aside, resources wise, they are one of the better options that can break into the top 6 (yet underachieving despite their spending over the years, finishing 10th or lower in 4 out of that past 7 seasons).

[article]Benitez has won 13 titles in total in his career managing seven European clubs since 2002. Spells at Valencia, Liverpool, Inter, Napoli, Chelsea and Newcastle has seen him lift a Champions League, two Europa Leagues, a Club World Cup and two La Liga titles. He only drew a blank during his short-lived spell in charge of Real Madrid. Curiously, Benitez takes over from Carlo Ancelotti at Everton, the same transfer of power that took place in the summer of 2015 at the Santiago Bernabéu.[/article]

So is Everton's decision to hire him.

He has experience in the Championship that might prove valuable.

He will improve them, but the good news for us is that he may make them more civilized in derby games, so that they dont come out with the sole intentiin of trying to end the careers of our players. He will make the contenders for top 4 if he stays on and make them consistent. The man still has it, and i dont buy into the idea he is not good enough, it maybe that it is actually the perfect club for him, and he will get the players he needs. Sad but true.

3 things to consider.
  1. He a 61 yr old man.
  2. I dont know of anyone who thinks about 61 yr old blokes in their boxers
  3. I'm 56 and I've got some new LFC boxers
You just want us to think about you in your boxers... don't you?

I would have preferred him not to go there - but any sentiment towards him as a loyal LFC 'fan' went down the pisser when he took the Chelsea job. Hope he ruins them and can't wait for the derby in November.

It looks like the scarf was photoshopped. He can’t even bare to touch it. Poor the bitters...
Yeah that's what I thought... Even the video where he is holding the shirt he looks like he holding a dirty sheet, the way he holds out by the finger tips.
