if we went into space, in any direction but still had eye contact with earth, and were floating in space, would there still be a 'North', 'South' and so on?
I guess what I am trying to say is, in space is there a sense of up and down? on maps of the solar system planets are shown as being on a linear line with The Lying Rag as the starting point. What is below this line and above it?
