Did he play for Leeds under Bielsa? If yes, another coach who can make a player look better than what he really is - the whole is greater than the sum of the parts? Like Sahin, Kagawa, Mkhitaryan from Dortmund.

I am not saying 100% avoid. But certain coaches or teams with a well-defined style of play have the ability to elevate a player's performance to a whole new level and we should be careful of spending large amounts of monies on players from such teams. Potter seems to have that gift.

Speaking of Arsenal, it does seem like Arteta has lost the plot, to the extent that he ever had one. I bet a fair few Arsenal fans are disappointed Chelsea decided to take it easy in the second half and didn’t give their team a drubbing that would have forced the board to act. I don’t think Pep will put him out of his misery either, but either way I’m sure he will be gone fairly soon. The way Arsenal players lost all belief in their system once Chelsea scored was telling.

It's weird. I can see how they're trying to play, I can see bonds forming between some players...there's *something* about them that's not clicking, and he constantly seems to hit "randomise" on his starting xi every week

They sure do make a lot of signings which never help them rise to the next level. A problem with scouting, or an inability to coach, or both.
