Barnes is IMO the most skillful player we've ever had. But when the premier league started injuries and age had taken it's toll on him and he was mostly playing centrally. He wasn't the same player any more, even though he was top class. I would have put him in my line up otherwise.

On another note, someone on RAWK wanted opinions on the best left footed player that ever played for Liverpool. Can't believe that 40 % picked Ray Kennedy ahead of Barnes. Travesty...
