While not in any way condoning racist chanting, I think Rudiger shares the blame by getting Son sent off with a ridiculous reaction to Son's feeble kick. His behaviour was provocative.

If the Spurs fans had confined themselves to booing Rudiger, it wold have been acceptable.

The elephant in this room is there is no way Rudiger would randomly notice one racist amongst the other 50,000 fans shouting vociferous abuse at him. People are so naïve.

Rudiger knew he had made a cunt move. He was in survival mode. He also knew that riling that many spurs fans, the odds of some being racist was near certain. He knew exactly what he was doing. He deliberately kept an eye out, as soon as one of the fans bit on his hook, the job was complete.

Have to admire his genius.

Lo

Son got himself sent off. Why can’t he bear responsibility for his actions?

It was a very feeble kick. It hardly made contact with Rudiger's chest. Rudiger shot backwards to the ground as if he had been poleaxed.

Of course Son was foolish to do it, but if it hadn't been for Rudiger's playacting I doubt whether he would have been sent off.

It was reviewed by VAR, remember? Son is the only villain in this.

Yep, if you are not white then stay in line or expect whole load of racist abuse.
Soon as you start looking for excuses, it becomes possible to justify it.
Regardless of Rudiger’s reaction, crowd don’t have a right to resort to being animals. We still don’t know what the crowd did apart from throw crap on the pitch around the same time so let’s see what spurs find anyway.

I was in a pub full of people and everyone knew it was a red well before it was given. Like everyone was all what the kin ell are they taking so long for, clear red.
Ensure that the league gets their money worth on paying those VAR fuckers sitting there eating their crisps and sipping their tea.

No behaviour ever warrants racist chants so that’s just a terrible stance. He shares zero blame.

But they didn't confine themselves, so he doesn't share the blame. If a black person antagonists you do you say something racist or do you tell them to fuck off?

Well there are two aspects to that. Firstly he antagonised the crowd by faking injury to get Son sent off. How the crowd reacted (or to be fair a small segment of them) is a distinct and separate issue. Both parties are complicit but how they became complicit shouldn't be confused or considered equal.

Well so it starts. Mourinho talking about the broken ribs of Rudiger, then saying he don’t want to focus on referees and VAR before he continues to compare the certain broken ribs of Rudiger with when Son cried for breaking Gomez leg he now cries for breaking Rudigers ribs.

His 5 months of being charming and sensible on TV came soon to an end. Who was the boss for Chelsea when Robbens playacting got Reina sent off?

Still nope. If they were calling him a cunt fair enough a lot of it would be on him for acting the dickhead. He is in no way complicit with a racist reaction.

Whilst the evidence remains inconclusive, there is a chance Rudiger imagined it all at the opportune moment a bit like Mason Holgate.

If a black person antagonizes 50,000 random sober people, the racists among them will not say something racist because it's 2019. If he antagonizes 50,000 drunk spurs fans, then (a) there will be more racists among them, and (b) they are more likely to say something racist.

The problem is having racists amongst those populations at all. The idea of all these fake news celebrities and footballers being shocked and saddened by hearing the racist words is ridiculously missing the point. They may as well be shocked and saddened by a statistical coin toss. John Barnes gets this. Gary Neville does not.

This is a PL booking. So the Rudiger case is at very best a booking for Rudiger.

You're missing the point. And it's not condoning racism in any form or saying his actions elicited that specific response.
