Prediction League - Spaces available

I think I’ll just pack the whole thing in actually, its turned into a beast that I can no longer handle.

You guys pay me 20k a year and I’ll turn this into a full time job. I do this predictions league in work time, and its taking too much of it up at the moment.
 
I was waiting on this to happen.
I wouldn't blame you if you did pack it in Piedro.
Please don't though, as I do enjoy it even if I am pretty shit at it.

Haha, don’t worry mate. Ive been in a twat of a mood all day so don’t take it personal.

I’ll carry on with the leagues, don’t worry about that.

I’ve put a note in the division two forum, from now on, if anyone drops out in the division above your division will get first choice of going up before I take any new applicants.

Hope that is ok. It just takes a lot of time to re-arrange all the divisions when someone drops out, so its easier to take on a new member rather than promote people, etc.

Whats the point in us guys in the 2nd division viaing for promotion, when it seems the quickest way to go up, is stop posting and then wait for a position in division one to open up and reapply, surely all newbies should be going into div2 with our lot getting the div 1 openings? just makes our div a joke really

I know what you mean, but there's glory in promotion. And no one really believes that the Premier League predictors are better than those in the other two divisions - just check out the total points scores to see the fallacy of that.

By the way Pete. Im happy to run a B-team just to keep the competition element up, but any time a new poster wants in i'll dip out and then back in whenever theres a gap.
Like nessie says ive never missed a week, so you know im available to plug holes when needed.

Well, to be honest mate, what's the incentive or point then?

I'm not being rude or a cunt (seriously) but I was on 6 points in that Div 2 section, and now I move to take over from that useless fucker Sven who's on 1 point. What am I gonna do, battle around the bottom of the table for the rest of the year? Not much fun in that.

I think I should bring the 6 points with me. Why should I not?

You are moving up to the premier league, as opposed to having to having to gain promotion (twice) to get there.

I cant just go letting people take their points with them everywhere, it gets far too messy.

Plus, there are only 4 games gone. Course you can still win it you big Jezebel.

STILL GOT TWO SPACES AVAILABLE REPLACING AKABOOTOO AND YOUNG PEGGY.

Herr Onceared and Lochnessmonster have their 'B' teams now set up in division two.
 
I am happy to post for my 'B' team in Div 2, until a newbie decides to come out of the shadows and wants a place. If I actually get to the end of the season without anyone expressing an interest in my place, I am happy to not be considered for promotion. Should i actually achieve it that is!! Depending what our organizers say of course. I am just happy to make up the numbers so there is a full league and fixture list.
