Can't see Downing in the pictures, so I'm gonna start a rumour that he's still in England and he's having talks with another club.

Found him

Is it Woland who thinks Henry is an alien? I'm starting to think that he has a point.

Was just thinking that myself, not for the first time in recent years either. I wonder how much of a say the clubs themselves are given in such matters nowadays.

You wonder if it's really worth the extra £5m a year or so we got from Warrior compared to how it could tarnish our 'brand' in the long term. They look like Vauxhall Conference kits.

Better to take £20m a year from, say, Nike, than £25m from Warrior, perhaps?

we've had some terrible kits in our time, they've never tarnished the brand, if we had a terrible home kit too though then i could see were youre coming from

Not the kits as much as the brand. Warrior is unknown. That itself is a sacrifice compared to 'partnering' with Nike or Adidas. If on top of being obscure they're also seen as cheap and nasty, then we look still the worse for the association. It could be a price worth paying, but the compensation has to be right - I'm just wondering aloud if the benefit is greater than the cost.

Our homes kits don't look cheap and nasty in the slightest, it looks fantastic, best kit we've had in a while!

I never really liked the away kit from the off, it looks like it should have a cape on the back, so imagine the disappointment when I realised it didn't.

The home one is the bestest one I've seen in a while.

Personally I think the home kit is decent enough. The sponsor should be in white - a red LFC shirt without some white trimming is just wrong to me - and it's safe and inoffensive to the point of boring, but it's clearly the pick of the bunch.

And I know - whinge, whinge, whinge!

id rather be in our predicament than uniteds, theyve got a decent away kit and a hideous home kit. and i still quite like the 3rd kit
