Pre Match Pre Match - Real Madrid (H) - Weds 20:00

Crowds trying to buy a lot of fouls. Kind of backfiring as the refs giving us nothing

Probably the worst of the forwards for me. Nunez started slowly but defo grew in to the game

Good half overall, but disappointed we didn't score
the last giveaway he got overly excited. still a big danger but maybe a gakpo game, probably a change we’ll see anyway with managing minutes

I thought we've shown them far far too much respect. Not many taking on their man outside Robertson.

Virgil with a couple of mistakes and a couple of world class blocks.

Diaz looked lost.

Gravy superb.

Very good half against a very good side. Hopefully can get a goal in the second half.

Bradley and Virgil tackling Mbappe the highlights so far.

Nunez is playing like a fucking idiot.
He's been great - the 3 best chances, 2 created himself, and he's unlucky not to have a goal (plus that Rudiger block from Robbo denied him a tap in as he was in the perfect position).Plus a number of times breaking from midfield and setting up attacks.

The bias in this thread is ridiculous. He's played well but no-one says anything unless he fucks up and then you lot are all over him.

Agreed.

Real set out to play high up the pitch and press us, and that has left a lot of space for Nunez. The pressing hasn't really worked but it's left space for Nunez to exploit, and he's unlucky not to score with his 2 big chances.

We're playing well. Keep it up and I reckon we edge this game.

I was concerned by Bradley following recent showings but him and Konate have made Mbappe their bitch.

There hasn't been a bad performance. Shout out to Nunez. Stupid moments aside, he's been excellent, dangerous and mature with his play, and the attack is looking for coherent and in sync as a result.

He's actually played well so fair dues. He is on a yellow though, does he have the serenity to see him through?

I think great is a stretch, he's done all the right things, except the most important one. He's so close to being great, but he needs to make goals happen.
