Post Wenger ...

Ranieri might suit them, he seems like a defensive version of Wenger, similar calmness, does his work without spending money, soon to be unemployed, he isn't likely to turn them down with laughter, what's not to like?

Hahaha! That would be verrrrry funny. Obviously won't happen, though.

I hope Wenger leaves. The pressure on the man that follows him will be HUGE. When he leaves I think arsenal will go backwards for a few years.

At a big club like Arsenal, the pressure on any new manager is always going to be huge. But when you add the fact that you'd be replacing a genuine football legend who has been there for decades, then it looks quite daunting.

On the flip side, it's not like taking over from Baconface, who'd just won yet another title. Wenger's recent record of success has been finishing consistent Top 4 finishes and winning a few FA cups. He hasn't won the title for 13 years.

When you look at it that way, it's less sacry.

I think the Arsenal job is the "easiest" among the top jobs available in terms of pressure. Most top level managers would back themselves to outperform Wenger in Europe given the resources available.

He'll win the Fa cup again this season imo.

That and another top 2-3 finish would be another successful season for them.

I think that although he slowly became more and more of a whiny old loon as he got older, I'll always be grateful for getting to watch this team for a couple of seasons. Still the best English team in my years of watching the game

Vieira Gilberto
Ljunberg Bergkamp Pires
Henry
