Positive: Joe Allen's debut performance on the back of a midweek match.

Observation: Lack of goal scoring options, not only in the XI but also on the bench. Even a club like WBA had more options in the likes of Odemwingie, Long, Fortune, Lukaka (and to a lesser extent Brunt, Morrison)

Negative: Suarez. 8 shots 2 on target. Nuff said.
