Have to say, I will miss them.

1) A Guaranteed 6 points per season

2) The hilarious delusional comments from their supporters and manager(s) will be missed

3) Shearer actually seems like a decent chap. I've been impressed by his attitude (his reaction to the crowd jibes) and interviews - even if he was as qualified as me Gran to run that circus.


They cocked up big time by booting Fat Sam. That slimey, bung collecting cunt, would have definitely kept them floating at least mid-table.



On the other hand, very happy Boro are down, I hate them with a passion. Shite club, shite supporters, shite place and they always had a habit of nicking points off of us at the worst possible time.

Personally I think the premier league is better off with them compared to Hull, but they didn't deliver so feck 'em. Quite delighted that Boro are down though.

It's a pity a few more teams couldn't have gone down with them, Blackburn, Hull and Sunderland have been fucking woeful aswell.

I'm pleased they've gone down though.
 
I must say, I would like to have seen them stay up and not just because they are good pantomime. Clubs like Newcastle should be in the Premier League. They might not be a big club in terms of what they win, but they are good 'box office'. I'd rather see Newcastle in the PL than Boro, Blackburn and Hull.

Agreed. It's like Korea knocking Italy out of the World Cup - kind of exciting, but when you get to the later stages you wish the big guns were still left in it. I'd happily have Newcastle and Leeds in the PL over some of the clubs that are there now.
 
Im sad they have gone. I like them. Dalglish, Keegan, Venison, Beardsley, Barnes, Rush, Souness etc a long history of tie ins and comradeship, and a big huge club that i enjoy playing.
I also quite liked boro, id rather Hull, Stoke etc went down. I want the 20 biggest teams in the premiership.

I would obviously exclude Everton and Manchester who i would dance a fucking jig to see relegated knob'ed.
 
I like newcastle and didn't want them relegated, mind you any team which detests Man U as much as we do i have a soft spot for.

Hull on the other hand can fuck off.

I watched it in the pub, about thirty or so ex pats watching, my mate Geordie Phil was fucking proper gutted, the temptation to gloat dissapeared to be honest he was that upset.

I'll miss the easy 6 points but then again those cunts m'bro have gone too (they always used to nick points off us) so it evens itself out. pity stoke couldn't have gone down instead of WBA, technically stoke cost us the league the bastards.
