I just read he'd be out for 2 weeks. That's crap.

If that was our player, we'd be looking at half a season.
2 weeks?

Typical.

Poor the gobby little fuck.

He's not on his own. Casillas is apparently mouthing that Joe Hart is so good he should leave City and sign for the scum.

What? Why would he say that? What has Man City and Man U got to do with Casillas?

What the hell is wrong with you guys?

Poor Messi, indeed.

People are steadily turning into cold-hearted sonsofbitches on here. That's what trophyless spells does to people I reckon.

Sorry sods.

SG - because he's the greatest player in the world, and potentially one of the greatest players ever. He's unbelievable to watch. A model professional too, up until recent comments with regards to the Mascherano saga. 99% of the time he's a credit to the sport, unlike that cunt Ronaldo. If he gets a bad enough injury and has to retire early, god forbid, it would be an absolute travesty. Look at Van Basten.

Also, with him in their team they stand a much better chance of stopping Real winning anything, and stopping the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea et al winning in Europe. I'm all for the little critter to be fine. Thank god it's not a break or ligament damage.

He'll be out for a mere fortnight. Get off your high horses FFS, the pair of you.

*mounts even bigger horse*

I just cannot understand how the leg/ankle did not snap when it was turned upside down by that tackle! It is indeed a miracle. Get well soon Messi.

I didn't like what he said, but I'd prefer if players like Messi, who are fantastic to watch, and great for the sport, are healthy.

I watched the first part of that match on the plane yesterday, and while Barcelona weren't even playing well, it was a level of football, with a level of players, you rarely see. The fact that I almost knew I'd see brilliance, then saw it with a gorgeous through ball and Messi's classy finish, is because of players like Messi. Compared to the head he could have, given his ability, he seems fairly decent.

Put me in the get well soon camp, now that we've no chance of playing them.

Fuck Barca.

And Mascherano.

But on the bright side, Messi can spend the next 2 weeks on the sidelines lamenting about other top players who are cruelly and unjustly being kept from being the UNICEF ambassadors of football.

Well said.

If Messi was a social worker I hate to thing what he would have said about Josef Fritzel.

Messi is probably the finest footballing talent of this generation and anyone who has a genuine interest in football will enjoy watching him play.

The last thing you want to see are the great players put out of the game because of injuries.

Look at what happened to Owen, Fowler and now with Torres. And those are just LFC players. Anyone revelling in seeing the top players get injured is a fucking blert. Unless they're at united obv.

Fuck Messi, fuck Barcelona, who gives a fuck if their players are injured?
*High five*

The biggest benefit an athlete gets from using HGH is its anabolic effects on the connective tissue within muscles.[4] These effects “may promote resistance to injury or faster repair â€.[4] HGH can make an athlete better equipped to avoid or recover from a sports injury

I understand people might enjoy watching 'good football'.

I however don't give a shite and want Liverpool to win. I rarely watch anyone else these days due to an increasing lack of passion with football. It's all just gone a bit shit really.

I can understand not caring about his injury, but I can't understand actually wanting him to be injured.

SG I'm the opposite to you. The only enjoyment I get from watching football is the likes of Barcelona and Messi. I very rarely actually enjoy watching Liverpool recently, like most of us. Barcelona and Messi provide a welcome break from the dull, dreary shite we're used to here.

Yeah, same here.

It's nice to just enjoy watching a bit of footy at times without all the bullshit that goes with it.
