That year I ended up in some pub in the lakes over Christmas and when I said Suarez was the best player I'd ever seen play for Liverpool nearly half the bar dropped their pints as they stumbled backwards flabbergasted saying Dalglish. I'm not knocking Dalglish, but Suarez is incomparable to anyone else we've ever had.

If we're talking Liverpool careers as well as individual skill sets into account, the King wins it for me. Purely in terms of individual ability, though, I'd have to agree. Suarez is the most outrageously gifted footballer I've seen in a Liverpool shirt in over half a century.
