The day that about 76 Arsenal fans claimed to have been all but fatally injured by the single pound coin that Carragher had the temerity to have gently lobbed back into the crowd after one of them had blasted it at his head. That was the day that all Gooners deserved to endure a iifetime of misery as far as I'm concerned.

My seat in the Main Stand overlooks the visiting supporters. They are in our faces all through the match.

I voted for Newcastle because the Toon fans are easily the most abusive. They spend the entire match insulting the Scousers with tremendous vigour and enthusiasm. They rarely think to give some support to their own team.

I think the least offensive set of fans is the Gooners. Some of their chants are even quite clever and amusing.

Of course we get abuse from every set of visiting supporters, but I don't think the Gooners are as bad as the others. Oddly, the North Londoners don't think unemployment is as amusing as the Geordies do.

My least favourite are Newcastle and Chelsea. United are obnoxious but they have some actual success to back up their bravado and they don't require plastic flags (well some of them don't).

Everton don't even appear on my radar, likely due to my status as an OOTer
