Heh, don't live round them ways anymore.

I'll have a street party for the Queen when the nation sees sense & rises up to kill the lot of them.

Don't kill them, make them poor. Have you never seen trading places?

With a job washing dishes in wetherspoons.

If they behave themselves.

All these so called Itk, rarely post any transfers snippets.

All posts are either selling sky boxs or betting odds.

Since Twitter marketing became a thing, it's made it really easy to spot the sellouts. I'm not complaining

I do have some sympathy. How else is someone who only has an audience on Twitter going to ever make any money?
Totally, but theres doing it well and theres looking like an attention whore. Marketing can be done really well, and twitter may well decide the US election in some way, but it's easy to look like a twat when someone constantly posts short links for betting sites all the time and forget about the whole content thing

Well, from YT you can tell he has a decent final ball around the box, which would help us given Lallana consistently fails to produce, and he can certainly dribble with the ball from deep.

Looks a bit small for a deep lying midfielder though and would have to be paired with one of Can or Grujic.

One of Allen or Lucas has to be going surely.

Agree with that. I think he's best suited to play as a third midfielder, though he'll need to show some productivity in terms of goals and assists in that position.

We have plenty of players that are best suited to play as a third midfielder. Would be nice to have a player than can play in a midfield two.

He looks like someone who needs to be the 3rd midfielder in a midfield 3. Unfortunately we have 3 midfielders who are exactly that.

Unless Klopp is planning to play 2 up front, but needs wide players in the midfield 4 who are able to tuck in and ensure the midfield isn't overrun. Like a 4-2-2-2 or 4-1-3-2 sort of thing.

Ie a good one

We've got (and had) so many midfielders recently who usually come attached with one or more of the following caveats:

Needs someone to play behind him and cover the defence

Needs a more defensive player next to him

Needs two defensive players next to him

Needs a more attacking player who can pass next to him

Needs a more mobile player next to him

Needs a defensive player AND an attacking player with him

Needs to play deep, with another midfielder next to him and one just in front

Good player when he can get the ball and distribute it, but needs a player who can tackle and has some presence with him, and another who can score some goals and create chances

Or Lucas, who is best in a team where the defence never go forward, he has a more mobile defensive midfielder next to him, a player more centrally who can pass, and one just behind the attack. Essentially a 6 man midfield is where he really can shine

This polish bloke sounds shit. Buy a fucking proper midfielder who can do more than one thing, can run, tackle, pass and also occasionally score goals, while dictating from the centre

We used to be able to find them

Yeah, I'm not particularly enthused about Zielinski. He seems to be someone who'd be good in a 4-3-3, but given that Klopp likes a 4-2-3-1, it's a bit puzzling.

Pity we're not looking at Brozovic, who'd be ideal for us.

Surely Allen and/or Lucas will be defo out of the door if this guy comes in aswell? Loads of players for the middle of the park.

I see the Napoli owner has said that the fee was agreed but the player is refusing to join them and instead saying he wants to join us .

So klopps first signings -grujic , karius and zielinksi and matip.

Lots of potential ?

I thought the chat for this summer was that klopps name would attract top players

There's only so much a name can do. When the team finishes 8th and aren't in Europe, it doesn't exactly help draw top talent.

I am willing to trust Klopp on this. He's be watching this player a long while and clearly has a plan for where he will fit in now or how he will develop.

He does not seem like a 3rd choice because other targets are unavailable.

I remembered yesterday that when Klopp first started with us last year he used a strange sort of 4-3-2-1 system in his first few games.

We're just assuming he's loyal to a 4-2-3-1 because that worked for him at Dortmund. But could he be planning around a system of 3 central midfielders, and Coutinho & Firmino freely floating behind a striker?

All gone very quiet on this guy. Sky Sports seem to have rated the chances of us signing him as 2.9/5 and Lucas Moura 4.3/5. Da fuq

Its all gone very quiet on everyone, I think it's safe to assume we won't be signing anyone until after the Euros.

Makes sense as its not gonna be easy to talk to players whilst they're playing in such a tournament. It'll all go mad once it starts to finish and players are around to talk and can be judged on their performances too. I'm sure Goetze has been hoping for a "big" club to come on for him now he's had his spotlight in the shop window

.... now he's had his spotlight in the shop window

Is it bright???? is the light coloured???? does it flash or have interesting shapes?

Be interesting to see what sort of spot light he has worth sticking in a shop window?
