Maybe he said those things IN context, if he did then it was ill advised but IF Tom and George had stayed and we had continued on the downward trend we were on, then ill be honest i would forgive world class players getting the hump and fucking off.
The reason im pissed off with Torres is that he saw the bright new dawn but used the past regime as an excuse to leave like a chief. Thats precisely why im willing to give Pepe the benefit of the doubt, hes seen things change and said fair enough, promises were broken but thats in the past and i like where we are going and want to fight to get us there (in the process miss two years o champions league football) then i say fair enough. We all said some things we shouldnt have but i for one will love Pepe pulling on our shirt next year, and will only remove this love i have for him if he does a Torres.

Forgive me for saying so, Jules; but you seem to be a lot more critical of a player who hinted he *might* have joined the Mancs had the opportunity arose but who's subsequently scotched that (for the time being at least) as opposed to another player who kissed the badge but who subsequently conjured up a pile of excuses to leave for another club and who DID eventually leave for Barcelona (after blatanltly trying to get a transfer to Inter)

The very fact that Masher's explanations wobbled around so much said loud and clear to me that he was conflicted about what he wanted and why. I can forgive that a darn sight more easily than I can a player playing a calculated game of footsie with our deadliest rivals. I dunno, but at some point they (not all of course) have decided they're better than the rest of us. The money pisses me off. Balotelli has already got £70k of parking fines or something, but it doesn't matter to him. The 'slave' stuff from Messi, Evra sending someone round to change his light bulb, and so on.
They have no concept of reality, and nothing in common with the fans anymore.
