I know they're heroes, and the way they tried to extend their right to breathe was phenomenal (although the real fighters of the Ghetto have been erased from history due to politics). I wish more people know of real history of the Ghetto - and how fucking stupid Mordechai Anielewicz and co were years before the Nazis arrived, and weeks before ...

Anielewicz, Martun Luther, Malcolm X and Mandela were the forerunners of the anti-PC movement. The latter took the struggle for freedom to a different level though.

I get that... But do you see what I mean?

The ideal is that Boateng tells ref, ref tells stewards, stewards eject twats.

He's said he'll do it again. Next time Milan get a two goal lead expect twenty bellends to start shouting at Boateng.
I know but he did tell the ref, he did nothing as he mentioned in his statement. What else could he do?
I been in grounds where there have been some disgusting things said stewards do nothing, they really dont see themselves to police the ground and often don't want to get involved. Sometimes Stewards agree with the abuse and will not do anything, till authorities make clubs act by getting the clubs to take responsibility, nothing will happen. Pro-Pedo's (whatever they are called!) chairmen even issued a statement straight after saying the offenders aren't the club's fans. This has been the same throughout europe for the last 20 yrs, no one sees it an issue and continue to self serve themselves.

That's what I'm saying - most of the fighting that rocked the Nazis wasn't led by Anielewicz, the Nazi who led the destruction of the Ghetto (Stroop if I remember correctly) confirmed this. It's only 'politics' that everyone knows Anielewicz.

Malcolm X was a fascinating character ... He had such turnarounds in his opinions throughout his life.

Mandela ... I grew up on him ...

MLK - fascinated by him but a lot of the stories around him before he got killed are often times ignored (he had lost his way).

I know... And hopefully his stand will make a difference. But it is Italy, fascism is alive and well and in authority.

A bright day will dawn one day when the likes of Richard Littlejohn, Melanie Phillips and Peter Hitchens will all be seen in the same light.

I for one, will deffo be putting my hand in my pocket when requests are made for statues to be made and placed in the heart of East London, Brixton and Bradford. *wipes away tear*

Stewards struggle to police a group of people chanting abuse, because theres the fear that these people will just pounce on them and beat the living shit out of them.

1 person, easy to deal with

50 people, less so

It seems I'm missing your humor, or you think I'm belittling any of the names you've mentioned (I'm not really a fan of Malcolm X but understand his role in history) - I'm not in any way (my dad was almost deported for what he did in SA against the Apartheid govt). I will stop but I being serious about Anielewicz ...His legend was built by political rivalries.

.? Not at all mate. Was just taking the piss out of the anti-pc brigade and the fact some of them feel that political correctness is the new 'cause' we should all get behind, that's all.

I can't stand PC - but if that was our 'major' problem today, we'd be living in a fucking great world.

Perhaps Peter. Seems very unlikely though.

Well now you are just putting words into my mouth. I never accused anyone of being racist, I was merely wondering out loud where all the anger comes from. Suppressed racist feelings is just one theory, and Peter has suggested another (highly unlikely) source. I am open to suggestions.

For myself, I tend to get angry about things when I come across them, and I tend to come across examples of stupid political correctness much more often than examples of racism. Furthermore, when I do hear of a racist incident, the reaction against it is universal, so as a natural contrarian I find it self-serving to join in with the chorus of anger - such as you might find on here, for example. When I feel my objection is necessary I'll speak up, otherwise I feel compelled to be quiet.

As for PCness, it's a strangely exercising subject for me. For a start, it's a rather nebulous thing (where does it come from? who started it? who promotes it?) but nontheless I know damn well it's there. Secondly, I'm not generally given to outrage, so when I hear of instances I tend to get irritated but quickly forget them. That's frustrating because when I hear people arguing that PCness isn't a problem I only have a general conviction that it *is* without the specific examples to back that up. But I can offer one good example: I've read articles about children as young as 6 or 7 having records kept of accusations of racism by them, often clearly innocent, such as remarking on a black kid's curly hair etc. When anti-racism becomes so dogmatic and intolerant as that, I think I'm perfectly justified in getting angry about it. And I think your refusal to countenance it is smug and self-regarding, not to mention complacent, and largely driven by a tribal aversion to agreeing with 'bigoted' Fox News/Daily Mail style opinions.

It's simpler than that for me. Racists are dickheads. People who get offended by this kid are dickheads. I like pointing and laughing at dickheads.
There is no 'like 2 times' function so I'm I'm gonna have to like it twice like this.🙂. He is just a 10 year old who wanted to pay homage to his idol. I personally think his idol is a cunt, but i'm not gonna verbally abuse the child, albeit on twitter about it. Perhaps the father( and possibly mother) could have forseen the shitstorm, but they didn't and have apologised, end of. Leave the poor kid in peace. In Sweden this year 3-5 year olds were told they couldn't partake in the annual Lucia parade if they wore the traditional Gingerbread Man costumes, in case some people should take offence. W.T.F.! Should we ban gingerbread.

It's like a fekin epidemic 🙂

These bizarre pictures show former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy visiting a hospital in Marbella as part of a Spanish Christmas tradition.
There is a longstanding tradition in both Spain and Holland that children receive presents at the beginning of January from one of the three wise men.
Tradition decrees they arrive in town to much fanfare and celebration from the locals - as this giant procession shows.
Van Nistelrooy attended as one of the wise men, King Balthazar, who was supposedly a black Arabian scholar and is usually played as such in the 'Three Kings' processions that take place every year in Spanish communities.

My friends kids school in Suburban NJ, called their Christmas party a "Winter Party" so as not to make the non Christians feel excluded. I thought it was too far. This holiday season I was Santa at my kids school. I asked one six year old, what he would like for Christmas, said he didn't celebrate Christmas, and then when I rephrased "What do you want from Santa", he had a long list. It's a strange one to navigate. I think at this stage, non Christians understand we don't want to exclude them, we just want to celebrate, and in this case, the kids, and Van Nis are just being historically accurate and not parodying anyone negatively.

Speaking as a ginger person, Gingerbread men offend me deeply and I would press charges against anyone dressed up as a gingerbread man if they ventured into my line of sight.

Ginger! Dear Lord! Really sorry to hear that.
