The thing about a witch hunt is that there aren't actually witches, they are made up, that's the whole point. You don't come upon mountains of rational evidence of covens and corpses in cauldrons.
And if you do, it'd be ill-timed at best to associate with the witches.
I think it is a case of simply if you have played or have an affiliation with LFC then don't do an interview with it as opposed to waiting for people to talk to The Lying Rag.
