Anyone ever bought anything electronic as a parallel import?
I left the camera my missus bought me (Cybershot T90) in the back of a taxi in Miami, and have to buy a replacement. I've had a bit of a search through the net and you can get it for a few hundred bucks cheaper if you go with a 'parallel import'. Apparently, they're exactly the same item wihout the import costs that your average shop adds on.
I'm a bit wary obviously.
Anyone gone down this route? Or any clue what I'm talking about?
