Roy should play people in their right position, the blind knob.
Pacheco fell down a hole a few weeks ago and has been screaming for someone to help get him out ever since. Sadly, nobody has heard his pitfiul cries.

Ayala was farmed out as we have Agger, Carragher, Soto an Skrtel ahead of him, not to mention Wilson and Kelly. Mavinga has to contend with Konchesky and Fabio. Also it might be fair to say that Kelly is better equiped to come at LB ahead of Mavinga. I haven't seen much of Mavinga. I read he did well for France in the Euro's during the summer but is a better option than anything we have at the mo?
I would have liked to see more of Pacecho though in fairness.

Unless Mavinga has one leg or no brain, he must be a better option than Konchesky and Aurelio. You'd hope.

Judging by what has happened to Jovanovic and Babel, i think Pacheco will find it hard to get minutes under Roy.
Roy doesn't use the wide-forward kind of player at all....
