Cech is unfair he was excellent before the head injury and most people acknowledge he's not the same player, so hardly over rated these days. Van Persie is an excellent player, injuries ruin him.

True, and Kaka was immense in the 2007 European campaign but IMO he is a good player who had one great season. Pirlo is good but Milan could have won stuff without him (i.e easily enough replaced by an Alonso, Sneijder etc), he is on a par with them but seems to be rated higher.
I haven't seen too much of Ribery but when i have seen him he has not impressed.
Pepe is crap - bad positional sense, weak in the air and loses concentration regularly.

I'm partly with you on Pirlo (in that I agree he's overhyped, though IMO not "way over"😉 but Kaka is a wonderful player. The fact that Ronaldo was superb that season doesn't mean Kaka wasn't. The only time I've ever seen Kaka not play well right through a game was in the 2007 CL Final in Athens, when Mascherano had him sewn up tighter than a mouse's @rsehole till Rafa made the mistake of his life and took Mascher off. Silva has bags of ability but there is a question in my mind about how well he'd be suited here in English football.
