[article]The Reds departed for Germany on Tuesday afternoon for the decisive return meeting in their last-16 clash after a goalless stalemate at Anfield last month.

Victory or a score draw at the Allianz Arena would send Jürgen Klopp’s team through to the quarter-finals.

Naby Keita has not travelled with the squad due to a minor injury.

Liverpool squad: Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Alisson, Henderson, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Mignolet, Shaqiri, Robertson, Origi, Matip, Phillips, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold

From the Offal. No Keita.

Fuck you pussies - I think despite being total wank away from home we will go through somehow, I don't think Bayern all that - would not be surprised if we beat them 5-0 or go through with a high score draw. They are total wank.

They need to come out and play more but No way Bayen are as open as they were at the weekend with us. If our attack turn up, we will win

Fuck. It is a real Hunt for ticks over here. In our bar it was just one guy to sell two tickets in home section for 600 euro per ticket...

Bayern fans also worried.... the game of the year for them
Why are we constantly the game of the year for every top team and bottom team ? I tell you why .. its because we have a history of buying players from the shitty sides that play so well against us !!!

West Ham
Man City
United
Everton
PSG ..away
Just goes on......

I have decided all other clubs are just cunts.

The ticket prices will be ridiculous. More of their fans requested tickets for this than did for the semi final last year!

Thats coz we are a top top team, even though we win fuck all these days...we are a top team. How the fuck does that work ?

I think Milner's fitness or lack thereof will be a decisive factor for this one. I don't think Klopp will start Lallana, Shaqiri, or Keita away in Munich – Milner is the only attack-minded midfielder he would trust in such a big game and big atmosphere and if he is not fit, he will almost certainly once again play a workmanlike midfield of Fabinho-Wijnaldum-Henderson which resulted in successive 0:0 draws at Old Trafford and Goodison. Now, a draw in Munich would not necessarily be a bad result for us, but given the quality and experience of the opposition, I fear playing a 0:0 type game will most likely result in a close, but deserved 1:0 win for Bayern. However, if Milner is fit to start, I believe our midfield balance will be better and we will create enough scoring chances to come away with a win or at least a score draw.

Every other position is pretty much set; I don't think there will be any surprises.

4-3-3:
--Mane----Firmino----Salah--
------Milner---------Gini--------
Robbo-----Fabinho-----Trent
------Van Dijk-----Matip-------
--------------Alisson-------------

Subs: Mignolet, Lovren, Keita, Lallana, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi
Hendo didn't even make your bench ?! 😀

I believe there is a good chance Lallana will start again. He had a cracking game on Sunday (and yes I know it was only Burnley) but Klopp loves that energy and if he were to repeat that performance alongside Firmino we'd have that gegenpressing back and Lallana / Firmino winning balls to feed into Mane/Salah on the break.

If Klopp holds to his belief Gini is shattered and so unlikely to start then Hendo will slot in alongside Fabs and either Lallana or Milner (that may come down to Milner's fitness).

Oops 🙂 Should be instead of Keita, surely.

As for Gini being "shattered," I believe we've seen him raise his game for big matches before. If he's selected, I fully expect the big-game-Gini to show up.
