I'm currently working a week at a pharmacy in a small (5,000 people) town in the wilderness of Northern Ontario. Despite being called the "Gateway to the North" (because of transport links to remote, fly-in communities even further up), this is about as far from civilization as I've ever been for any period of time.
[I'm actually slated to move here in the fall on a well-compensated two-year contract if I don't bitch out and pay back the $25,000 signing bonus, ditch the company, and stay in the city.]
Weather has been crap so I haven't been enjoying the wonderful scenery as much as I would like. Mostly just eating, working out, and watching (a lot of) porn.
Anyone have any suggestions for activities or any similar stories to tell?
