Liverpool Chairman Martin Broughton was looking out of a window at anfield,
when he saw an old lady struggling with 6 Aldi bags.
He shouts 'Can you manage love',
She Replies 'fuck off, I don't want the Job!'
haha.

I thought you were adamant that a certain someone was nailed on for this job?
It will be Kenny and Rush for the interim, as I said.. Mark my words..

I think we should try to appoint Hodgson and O'Neill as joint managers.

One bloke who doesn't seem to have been mentioned in Scolari. I always quite liked him even though he destroyed England's World Cup hopes four years ago.
I like Scolari too
You know, in World Cups and European Championships over the years I've always pulled for Ireland apart from when they played England therefore I've never understood the bitterness of some of the Irish lads like yourself.

Rijkaard's the anti-Rafa, as clueless in defensive organisation as Rafa sometimes seemed to be at the other end of the team. Not for me.

I suspect the answer to the Klinsmann question is: his finances.

Kevin Keegan 😛

Any why not that Olivera bloke, he always has short odds when linked with us in the past!

Graham Beecroft has been saying the same thing on Talksport all day.

I'm basing it on their acheivements over their whole careers rather than the last 2 years that all, I'm not saying Hodgson is shit just he shouldn't be a candidate for us. O'Neill has never failed and been sacked in the past, he generally chose to move on for a new challenge where he would then succeed again. Hodgson has outright failed and been sacked before at a lesser club than ours
O'Neill has always choked in the final third of a season, it's almost a given. We'd be swapping a shit start for a shit finish.
Except when he managed Celtic and Leicster city.

And right now I'd take my chances with a great start after a WC year and leave it up to Torres and Gerrard to carry us through the final third.

Considering our options now I would jump at MON

Hello

Its been a long time - the guy I wanted for us has fucked off to Real Madrid, so whoever we get is going to be sh*t anyway. If the appointment is just interim then lets go for Kenny - although at lot has changed since his time at the club.

Regards,

MORON

Hello Moron, nice to see you pop in

Kenny would be mad to take it and the fans that want him to take it are mad too.

I agree with that Keni, the only way I could condone it would be purely on the basis would be on a very short term

Here is an interesting one from the Mirror..............................
'arry the geazer has always had a soft spot for Liverpool, I would quite like it to happen, although there are possibly a few skeletons waiting to fall out

Harry Redknapp is a shock contender to become the next Liverpool manager - as Kenny Dalglish draws up a shortlist of names for the Kop post.

The Tottenham boss is much admired by Dalglish, who has been asked by the Anfield owners to find out who wants the job of replacing Rafa Benitez.

Redknapp's stock has never been higher after leading Spurs to the Champions League, a triumph that ironically went a long way to getting Benitez the sack on Merseyside.

And Redknapp could be tempted away from Tottenham, with friends revealing he is upset that White Hart Lane supremo Daniel Levy has not approached him about a longer and improved contract.

However, there is also the lure of Liverpool, who have the kind of big-name history and glamour that Redknapp has always fancied - and at the age of 63 he is unlikely to get one of the established giants calling for him again.

Redknapp could have to uproot from his Dorset base - a domestic problem that has stopped him moving north in the past - but a two-year deal on top money may ease that pain.

And Redknapp can also count on his friendship with Dalglish to help open the door and make him welcome, with friends claiming he is willing to chase the job.

Dalglish is close to Redknapp and was trusted with taking on his son, Jamie, when he started out on his top-flight football career. The families have been tight ever since.

Redknapp was rated the top manager in England last season - with Fulham's Roy Hodgson also picking up a similar award - and Liverpool could not find a more experienced boss.

The only box he does not tick is his lack of success in Europe, but he has been at clubs where a run in those competitions has been a handicap.

Would he leaves Spurs after getting them to the CL? He did leave Pompey to move on bigger and better things though.

If he did come we'd be brought into a Spurs, Pompey Liverpool transfer Merry-go-round.

Redknapp is widely disregarded on here, but he's clearly a very good manager.

There is no way he should leave Spurs for us, though. He should stay and enjoy the success he's created.

Plus I don't think he has the staying power to stick with us. One falling out with the owners or the board - which is inevitable - and he'll walk, as has proved time and time again.

christ, it's come to something when my first reaction to that was 'Harry Redknapp? out of our league.'

Our owners look likely to be Tom and George for a good while yet, IMO.

I really hope you're right and there is something moving behind the scenes, but if you are right then it's moving very quietly.
It's be Crouch, Defoe, Krankjar and James as our summer signings then.

i know i am probably the only one here but id like Hughes.

He has proved that he has excellent man management skills and he gives the team some much needed bite.

Unlike Rafa his relationships with even the most challenging of personalities has always been excellent. Id imagine Hughes and Mascherano being in love with one another.... perhaps then he would leave his xenophobic wife and stay with us.

He is going under the radar. If he was still soaring high at Blackburn he would be one of the favourites.

I don't know how to judge him at City because I'm not sure how much power he actually had in regards to players signed and players selected.

I must point out that I don't care about any of the above, because he's a Manc

I thought he was a smug bastard whilst at City with all that money behind him.
