I was thinking we could always get a loan but then thought what's the point, I mean we had Caulker last year and Klopp used him more like a Huth for the last few mins chasing a game.

Let's be honest here.
The biggest problem with our defence in recent years was Rodgers inability to coach, organise or develop a decent defensive system or setup.
We know this - wouldn't of mattered who was playing they the CB's were left consistently exposed and unprotected.
It's no surprise that sone players have "gotten better" at defending since Klopp took over (Lovren).
Look at the journey men at the heart of Leicester's defence last season.
It doesn't require supermen in defence - it requires structure, concentration & protection from midfield.
Klopp will improve what we have.
