What a likeable bunch.

Literally to a man, they are actually genuinely lovely bunch of guys.
There is some serious man love across the board.

We don't have that nasty stick your boot in kinda player like De Rossi yesterday (though Naby might take up that role). We've had the conversation numerous times about needing players who doing give AF but seems like we just that in the manager.

Theres a nastiness and then an aggressiveness. Robertson and Milner are no pushovers, they let opponent's know they are in a game. I'd take that anyday.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but Hendo was bollocking Karius during the celebrations last night, clearly referring back to one of the incidents when he could and should have caught the ball. He bollocked Robertson too in one of the last few games. It was good to see.

Oh good point - he showed that big time yesterday ... ha ha

DARRAGH MURPHY
Jordan Henderson was not about to get carried away with the celebrations after Liverpool secured a place in the Champions League final.

The Reds will travel to Kiev to take on Real Madrid at the end of this month after a dramatic 7-6 aggregate semi-final victory over Roma.

Liverpool may have lost 4-2 in the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico but their 5-2 win last week gave them enough breathing room to squeeze into the final.

Club captain Jordan Henderson spoke for many supporters when he commented on the side's tendency to do things the hard way.

"We never do it the easy way unfortunately. It was an amazing effort," Henderson said after the game.

"In the first half we did well and scored some good goals. Overall we handled the situation well apart from the last 10 minutes. We need to stop that but I’m delighted we’re in the final."

Goalkeeper Loris Karius didn't have his greatest game in a Liverpool shirt, parrying a relatively tame shot right into the path of Edin Dzeko, who made it 2-2 on the night.

Conceding four goals is always going to lead to criticism and the German 'keeper got an absolute earful from Henderson as the team celebrated the sound of the final whistle.

@GaryLineker Did anybody else see Henderson having a pop at Karius for not staying in the middle of the goal for the Nainggolan Penalty at the end! Think he says something like “I told ya, dont move”!!

Karius happily enjoying the moment here with the fans until Jordan Henderson cold-bloods him from behind and gives him an absolute earbashing #LFC #ChampionsLeague

Was a bit weird seeing Karius drinking alone on his Instagram to celebrate the win. He probably thinks he's different than the rest of the squad, but meh, maybe this impression is traced back to his video with that Vujanic guy.
