As one of the few posters here who saw this coming (albeit the last few years), it's going to get as bad as Spurs under Poch ... and unlike those fuckers, they'll have a few cups to gloat about ... Fucking wish we had this version of Man City to compete with the last 5 years ... knobs
If we had had this version of City the story would be reversed - how can Pep find a way to compete with Klopp.

The job Arteta has done is impressive. Even last year Carragher was saying getting Arsenal to the top four is the limit of Arsenals potential and he should consider looking for other jobs. He's rocked up this year and steered a young side to have a very realistic chance of winning the title.

As a Liverpool fan, the only slight pleasures this year is the wider football context is seeing Everton finally implode, and seeing City being surpassed in the league by some ex City rejects led by their old assistant coach. That has to be getting under the skin for the City fans, players and dog fucking manager.
Witness Guardiola's recent meltdown using Arsenal as the epitome of everything City are missing this season. Beautiful to see.

Isn't Grealish meant to be good?
City paid a lot, and he doesn't seem to score or assist that much.

He deffo signed for the wrong club. I think he could only do well if he was the main man playing in a free role and he's obviously never going to be anything close to that at City

At Villa, you could see that he was enjoying himself playing like a kid on a school pitch while actually having an impact on the game and the stats to back it, which you don't see often with these flashy showboat types. Then he signed for City and probably got told by to stop fucking around and play the Boring Pep game so now he looks lifeless and shit. Weird signing which made very little sense in terms of football

To be fair, we haven't had meltdowns recently. It has been a mix of apathy and resignation here.

Aww... kinda just like what we've seen on the pitch. That makes me sad. Maybe we need someone to kick off and show the players what some fire in the belly still looks like.

Looks like Schalke's heading straight back to 2. Bundesliga - 4-0 down at home to Leipzig approaching halftime.

On a sidenote, having the players to play the manager's preferred system/style is clearly important for both parties. Marco Rose rebuilding his reputation with a side that suits his vision.

Ajax and PSV affected by managerial changes & player sales. If the other teams don't grab hold of this opportunity, the next one will be God knows when. Danger for Ajax in terms of missing out on CL football too.

PSV 1-0 down away to 3rd from bottom FC Emmen and were down to 10 men since 43rd min. Would be nice if Arne Slot can win the league with Feyenoord. His AZ Alkmaar side was a joy to watch (which ended him the move to his current club).

Quite criminal of PSV to lose both Gakpo and Madueke without any (planned) replacements.
